Been sitting on a brilliant idea for a church group study for youth or adults for a few weeks? A year? A decade?
I know.
You are already doing too much.
You have this great idea for something that will connect your community to the Gospel in a powerful way, but you can’t seem to find the time to actually make it happen because these things are true:
Research and writing take a long time
Writing lesson plans and engaging activities takes more creativity than you can spare
17 emergencies come up every day that make it impossible to get to your back burner projects
You spend a ton of time taking care of the people who darken your doorway, pop up in your inboxes, or slide into your DMs “just to talk.”
And that is as it should be.
Good job shepherding the souls of your community.
That back burner in your brain is full of lightbulb moments, waiting to be set free to delight the world.
Maybe they take the shape of:
A Bible study curriculum to pair with a sermon series
A historical or theological topic you’d love to bring to life for your congregation
A non-theology book you’d love to use for a study groups
A set of interviews you want turned into a study
A discussion guide for a TV show you’d like to watch and discuss with your youth group
A discussion guide for a documentary or movie viewing event with your congregation
For years, I’ve been writing curricula that help youth and adults connect the Bible and their faith to the world.
I’m a research junkie. I’m a precise communicator. I love to weave theology in and through stories in creative ways.
And you don’t need to add another seminary-trained educator to your staff to get the kind of customized studies you’re looking for.

Here’s the process:
We jump on a call and I send you a quote based on the scope of the project.
I put on my research game face and get to work. I estimate $30/hour for research.
I grab my Gipsy Kings playlist and decaf coffee and start writing. I estimate $60/hour for writing.
I send you a draft and you get one round of edits!
